Hope’s Happy Paws Covid 19 Protocols
I am so excited to see my furry friends again! In order to keep us all healthy and safe I have implemented some new protocols.
- When services are booked we will review some screening questions. 24 hrs before the scheduled visit I will check in to make sure we’re all feeling well. If anything changes at any time with your health or you discover you’ve been potentially exposed to covid 19 please contact me immediately so we can cancel the visit. I will do the same.
- I will be using my own leashes for our walks. The leash will be disinfected before and after it is used. Please keep your dogs collar or harness as close to the entrance as possible to prevent me from having to search for it.
- I will be using my own treats for our walks. If your pet has special dietary restrictions please let me know. If you need to provide them please do so in a baggie that I can disinfect. If your dog is one that enjoys a yummy Kong when I leave please have one prepared in the freezer for me to grab. (My recipe is usually just a handful of treats with some peanut butter smeared inside and on the top.)
- When I arrive I will be wearing a fresh pair of gloves. I will use lots of hand sanitizer and I’ll be disinfecting any surface I need to touch or have touched. I will wear a face covering and also shoe coverings upon entering your homes.
- Payment of cash and checks are still ok. Please just place them in an envelope or baggie to limit handling.
- For those using my sitter service or overnights please know all cleaning protocols listed above will be done. In addition I will bring my own bedding for overnights. I will also bring a clean sheet that I will place over where I will be sitting so not to have my outside clothes on your furniture.
- Meet and Greets will be done outside with all parties practicing social distances of 6 ft. or more and wearing face coverings.
I hope these measures will put your mind at ease. I strive to provide the safest environment possible while I am caring for your furry family members.
Hope
